Located in the foothills of Sonoma Mountain, Flying Cloud's 33 acres provide a unique alternative for conferences, meetings, teambuilding events, and company parties. Only minutes from historic downtown Petaluma and close to Highway 101, Flying Cloud is a private facility which allows our guests to experience some of Sonoma County's inimitable offerings: beautiful views, a spectacular indoor equestrian center, and a venue for Sonoma's premier chefs.
Central to our 35,000 square foot facility is our viewing room. Overlooking a private courtyard and garden to the west and our Olympic size indoor arena to the east,it provides a tranquil setting for up to 50 meeting participants or 140 guests for dinner.
The afternoon can be spent participating in a variety of team building exercises: playing petanque on the garden lawn, learning the intricacies of wine tasting and appreciaton, playing volleyball or horseshoes on one of our 22,000 square foot indoor or outdoor sand arenas. After a day of hard work or play, guests can adjourn to our columned, candle-lit wine barrel room for cocktails and hor d'oeuvres, followed by dinner in the banquet room catered by one of Sonoma County's top chefs.
As a suitable ending to the day, our meeting guests can view tuxedo clad riders schooling to music in the indoor arena while sipping select Sonoma County wines.
